How We Got Started ?
Mrs. Theoline A. Lee is celebrating her birthday surrounded by family.
The concert, which began in 1970 under the leadership of Mrs. Theoline A. Lee, was initially organized to support the church’s Building Fund. Following the successful clearance of the mortgage, proceeds from the event were redirected to support St. Luke’s Senior Citizens’ Residence. Later St. Simon’s Basic School in Jones Town, and the church’s Feeding Programme were included.
The annual event has evolved over the years to incorporate various forms of artistic expression, including instrumental performances, choral music, dance, and poetry, all dedicated to the spread of the Gospel and the call to worship.
Organizers are inviting the public to attend and support the initiative, which continues to serve as a major fundraiser for the church’s outreach programmes.
