Welcome to St Luke's Church Cross Roads, Kingston, Jamaica

St. Luke's is a church within the Anglican Diocese of Jamaica & the Cayman Islands located in Cross Roads, St. Andrew, Jamaica. We are a centre of worship and prayer, a place of welcome and hospitality and a community of people who love and serve God.

Meet Our Priests

We are pleased to introduce Archdeacon Patrick Cunningham, a dedicated servant of the of The Lord whose journey in ministry has been marked by compassion, wisdom, and a deep commitment to spiritual leadership. Prior to joining St Luke's, Archdeacon Cunningham served faithfully as the Rector of Christ Church in Vineyard Town and the Balaclava Cure.


A trained educator and proud alumnus of Church Teachers’ College, he brings both pastoral insight and academic grounding to his role, enriching the lives of those he serves.


Renowned for his heart for pastoral care and his unwavering dedication to both local and global outreach, Archdeacon Cunningham approaches ministry with warmth and empathy.


His leadership is centred on nurturing spiritual growth and building meaningful relationships within the congregation. As he leads our church family, we look forward to his continued guidance, inspiration, and connection his presence will bring.

We are pleased to introduce Deacon Peter Depass, who was ordained a Deacon in the Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands on June 29, 2025, the Feast of Sts Peter & Paul.


Prior to that Peter was accepted in to the Supplementary Ministry Programme of the Diocese of Jamaica in September of 2024.


Peter is a lawyer by profession with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies, a Certificate in Legal Education from the Norman Manley Law School and a Master of Laws degree in Corporate & Commercial Law from University College London.

 

In respect of training for Ministry, Peter completed a Certificate in Theological Studies from Trinity College, University of Toronto in May 2022 and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies also from Trinity College , University of Toronto in May of 2025.
